X Topic Abstract

Every company is a technology company” - Peter Sondergaard, Gartner Symposium keynote 2013

Since this prescient quote, whole industry segments have been both transformed and disrupted by technology. The hoteling and taxi industry were disrupted by AirBnB and Uber respectively. Engineering behemoth General Electric is betting the future growth of the company on Digital IoT platform, Predix. At the leading curve of this technology transformation is the concept of Cloud Native solutions – Microservices delivered on an automated technology platform using an Open Source DevOps toolset. This talk will cover the following topics:

1.Why are enterprises adopting cloud native solutions

2.Trends in microservice adoption

3.Key challenges & benefits

4.Road Ahead - How are enterprises responding to these challenges?

X Topic Abstract

The changing ecosystem of DevOps tooling needs constant learning. How to improve the journey of Developers with the next gen tooling platform. How to make the life simple?

X Topic Abstract

In a Microservices world with a number of producers and consumers at play the biggest challenge is communication between teams. More often than not API producing teams do not realize which consumers might break should they make a change. With consumer-driven contracts, producer teams can make changes with confidence and when the changes break a consumer, they can communicate quickly. The objective of this talk is to minimise risk by implementing consumer-driven contract testing using Pact and a successful process behind it.

X Topic Abstract

Microservice Architecture and Deployment of Microservice in Kubernetes cluster with exposure of Service, auto scaling, Secret and Configuration Management along with logging and Monitoring.

X Topic Abstract

Infra as code has already been a well-established practice in the DevOps community. In this session, we would be exploring how test drives your

infrastructure as code. Test first and Test-Driven strategies help in developing modern web infrastructure giving us early feedback. This session would enable the

participants to gain in-depth knowledge of this technique.Test driving your infrastructure enables quality delivery of all kind of infrastructures by enabling Four

Amigo discussions involving business, development, testing and operation teams. Thus a consistent and reliable environment is created for our applications across the software development life cycle.

X Topic Abstract

How do we solve the problem of ever changing fronted technology stack in a large enterprise?
How do we apply the advantages of Microservices to fronted development?
How do we solve the above problem using container technologies.

Speaker profile

Involved in building a multi cloud AI and Analytics platform to solve some very complex predictive maintenance, asset lifecycle management.
The AI platform is architected as a distributed system and a multi-tenant system with the goal of running complex AI model orchestrations at large scale.
Development of visualization Framework to enable rapid development and deployment of these analytical applications.
Development of Micro Frontend framework to host multiple UI apps written in various technologies.

X Topic Abstract

In 2011,"Microservices as a term" was first used at software architects. Now its a buzz word across the software industry. Everybody wants to be a part of this Buzz word (Implmenting Microservice Architecture). However, as a developer/architects we need to have clear understanding about the pros and cons of Microservice Architecture.

In this talk, Sujay Asre talks about different architecture pattern like Monolithic, SOA, Microservices etc. He also discusses in detail when, where and how to use these patterns with an examples ( based on past project experience).

Sujay also emphasizes on step by step transition of Monolithic or SOA Application to Mircoservice application along with Hybrid Microservice Model. We also discuss about the Hybrid Model in detail as most of the time this is used in real world.

Sujay takes audience with challenges and learning of his experience while implementing Architectural patterns. He also let the audience know about Reactive Design Principles which can be applied with simple design patterns.

Key takeaways for Audience :-

1. Deep Understanding of Architecture Patterns.
2. Pros and Cons of Microservice Architecture with real examples.
3. Understanding of Hybrid Microservice Model
3. Understand Reactive principles and How to apply them ?
