This session will address the increasing focus on EX (Employee Experience) and asks if it is just a buzzword or if it really has a bigger role to play in driving an organization’s performance, brand value and overall culture. The session will take a practical approach to embracing EX and take examples from a few regional and global entities to address a series of questions: How does EX relate to Customer Experience (CX)? What are the cornerstones of EX? How can we leverage technology to reinforce the employee’s sense of belonging? How can we create experiences that continue to enrich, motivate, and demonstrate to employees that they are highly valued, their physical and virtual spaces are supportive, and their contributions are meaningful, in line with the organization’s goals and values?

Speaker Profile

Neel S Vaidhyanatha has over 23 years of leadership in learning, HR, design and technology. He has formulated and implemented people development strategies to optimize organizational and individual performance by creating meaningful and engaging employee experiences.

Having led teams based in the USA, UAE, UK, India and Singapore, Neel’s global experience covers a diverse range of sectors - from aviation, logistics and infrastructure engineering to academics, interactive entertainment and IT.

His expertise lies in driving lean HR and learning operations. These strategic initiatives are driven by design thinking, agile methodologies, digital adoption, business alignment, learning technologies, project management and people leadership skills to deliver measurable results and ROI.

Neel is passionate about music, Vedanta philosophy and youth empowerment, not necessarily in that order, and is always seeking ways to tap the potential power of our inner resources.

Human Intervention is an absolute must for People Development. Artificial Intelligence has still not penetrated into the areas where people are developed on their thinking, decision making, Emotional Intelligence, positive psychology that is the foundation. Coaching and mentoring programs are critical for people development and an advance level of human skill is needed along with life experience. A robust process to deliver people development strategy requires thinking, influencing, assessing, listening skills that needs human intervention. Emotional Intelligence is a key foundation for people development and the process will be shared during the presentation

Speaker Profile

Nishi Shetty is a Management Graduate with more than 23 years of experience as a senior HR professional in Multi nationals in India and UAE. She has gained extensive experience in the area of people development with her passion to develop people through her professional skills.

She has worked with Large conglomerates as Saint-Gobain Group, Gulf Agency Company, Al Futtaim Group, Laing O’rourke giving her the cross-industry exposure into trading, construction, manufacturing and logistics industry. ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ is her forte having worked in a diverse cultural environment with more than 30 nationalities, developing women leaders and creating an environment and culture to bring equity enabling collaborative partnership.

She conducts workshops for customer relationship, sales development, conflict management, team building, employee engagement, personality profiling and leadership development using the tool of MBTI (Myers & Briggs Type Indicator). 400 people have been trained by her and the success of the program is in learning to change the approach with customers and people and right decision making.

She uses Emotional Intelligence tool EQ2.0i and uses it for Talent development with one to one feedback. EQ2.0i is a great tool to be used in Leadership development. Her programs on Emotional intelligence brings the learning and 360 transformation improving business performance.

She is an Executive Coach and uses transformational model of Coaching for leadership, talent and people development.

She uses Hay 360 feedback tool extensively for creating self-awareness and leadership development. Her friendly, objective and structured style makes the person at ease and yet explores the possibilities through GROW coaching style to find about oneself.

She has used Pyschometric tests extensively for talent acquisition, self-awareness and people development. The tools Saville wave and SHL provide a great report that is well communicated to the people to understand themselves better in context of their work life.

She is a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Hypno therapy and Timeline therapy that she uses extensively in coaching and workshops. She delivers public program on ‘Breakthrough’ and ‘Journey to Success’.

Nishi’s large exposure in the corporate makes her grounded & realistic and understands the business and people needs at a greater depth. Her passion is to help in people transformation. She walks the talk and is an empowering woman leader.
